I'm curious about the huge change to travel budget in the current FY and projected FY. Is that the cultural excursions program?

I appreciate your approach to accessibility and in particular, the docent training/personalized tours.

Goal number 2 (integrating arts into the fabric of daily life) needs more well thought out objectives and activities. Everything described in the proposal separates the arts from other aspects of the community, not integrates. This organization should look into less traditional partnerships to raise support and recognition for the arts. It's good to see professional development support for the sector as a whole. Should look into how they can strengthen and deepen advocacy efforts.

Unclear whether numbers are based just on Council programs or include all arts and culture organizations in the county (ex. 219 opportunities for public participation seems high with no explanation). The Council should look to see how they can expand marketing efforts beyond traditional avenues.

Minimal evaluation is described, with no information on how the information will be used to improve programming and services. Good to see addition of support for staff health care. Revenue increases look attainable based on history. Only financial question is large increase in travel expenses ($4,000 LY versus $30,000 this year).

Application states the building is not fully accessible. The Council appears to look only at surface accessibility measures, should think about things beyond ADA compliance in creating accessible programs.

Well described goals and measurable outcomes. Collaborations are good. A little more detail in their timeline would help. Most projects are in Stuart which would affect their impact, should get out more. Their impact numbers are great when compared to their population. I like the breakdown of their marketing channels. They give good detail in their economic impact. The staff and budget are in order- budget is growing. And they crossed off all the marks in accessibility.

I commend them for proactively addressing employee retention and using grant funds to sustain an appropriate level of staffing.  That was addressed well in the application.
