I appreciate how detailed your goals and objectives are. Additionally, I am very impressed that your museum has no paid staff and yet you are able to accomplish so much. I believe that your museum provides vital services to the community. Well done.

Nice application. Could be strengthened if economic impact data included specific data on the Museum's impact.

A well-written and well-supported grant application.  The objectives for grant funds are clearly articulated.  The scope of benefits and audience engagement are noted throughout.  (NOTE: It is curious that the applicant reports that no category makes up 25% or more of the population benefiting from the proposed activities. This implies equal distribution of benefits, which is unlikely.)

Excellence: The goal of the Phoenix Project, the reconsideration of the annex building to enhance visitor experience, address lack of public education spaces and ADA compliant restrooms makes great sense.  With that they are reconsidering their gallery installations.  It is less clear how the reconstruction project will be completed with in-kind services and supplies by volunteers.

Impact:  Although checked off that no single group made up more than 25% of the population served (7,500 adults out of 8,500 total served), it would seem that adults of a certain age span would.  Perhaps rethink this?  Good economic and community impact summaries.  Wondering why the DNASMV find it difficult to measure impact in an attendance statistic.  Not sure what that means.  Is it true that history is no longer being offered in most school curriculum?

Management - would it be a stretch to consider hiring a part-time administrator?  the budget is modest but this may be the way to go if growth is eminent.  This is why I am giving a "good" rather than excellent score.

ADA - with a new facility/complex on the horizon, they may want to review the 504 again soon.  Last review was over two years ago.
