This application was well organized. The need for this new air condition system is clearly defined. The portable box truck community programming is commendable. There is nothing more praiseworthy than taking the arts directly to the people. I am certain this elevates the quality of life in this city. | |

The grant request is a reasonable one and I heartily support it. The idea of 16 air conditioning units in a building over a 100 years old is scary. It is surprising to me you need no permits from the city as the replacement is really an inside and outside job as well as repairing the exterior damage from all of the units. I like the fact you earn 80% of your income and have an Endowment. This clearly presents to me efficient management, not always the case in local theater. |

An important, needed upgrade. An unsexy project with big impact. Modest is budget, yet will make a significant difference for patrons, energy use, and operating budget. A good example of a capital investment that will support a decrease in operational expenses and an increase in earned revenue. Would like to see more than a single donor match, even with the understanding that existing donor base is tapped out. Is there a way to better understand where this match is coming from? How was the $$ initially brought into the theater? Would like to see more than the single letter of support. Consider, in the future, showing support from local/state government officials and patrons. Great naming of the campaign! A little levity for this important project. |
