Carr Kevin - Score: 80.000

very limited impact relative to the amount of funding requested

good marketing plan.

Not much detail in terms of activities.

No details in terms of the timeline.

good evaluation plan.'

Why no corporate support?

Conner Tracey - Score: 82.000

Proposal Synopsis states program year is 2017-18.

Excellence - This portion of grant was incomplete. No measurable outcomes or partnerships? No program/activities?

Impact - Numbers of people engaged do not add up to total of 25,435.

The grant panelists score the applications using a rubric that aligns with the grant application. Going simply by the rubric, this grant application was incomplete and did not earn a score high enough for funding. Based on the support materials, I think you are probably producing some very good theatre, and I bumped your score up to scoring level. You can do much better next time by providing more descriptive details, paying attention to detail, and answering all of the questions. Wishing you well.

Dale Mary-Margaret - Score: 80.000

Would like to see more details about the season in the proposal and the outreach activities, how the community is served, and an understanding of who the audience is.

Would also like more background on the theatre. With 35 seasons in its history, would like more of the story of the impact that the theatre has had on the community and its artistic landscape.

Would like more details of the impact on the local economy.

Appreciate keeping ticket costs low for community - would like to know the ticket prices.

The marketing plan appears to be sufficient in service of promoting the season.

Would like to see more detailed goals of how success will be measured.

Appreciate commitment to providing ASL interpreters. Would like to know more about any existing plans to make the theatre more accessible to people in underserved communities, and to members of the community who do not currently patronize the theatre.

Recommend considering a diversity of voices and gender parity when selecting titles for future seasons.

Flynt-Garrett Debra - Score: 82.000

Proof read, the synopsis reads that you are asking for support for 2017-2018.

There could be more information and details regarding the Goals, Objectives, and Activities, and there is no information on partnerships. Are there no partners or collaborations?

I'm confused by the impact numbers. The total number of individuals who will benefit is listed as 25,435, but the numbers only add up to 15,290. Did you mean to put 15,435 for the total to benefit?

In the proposal budget under Revenue, what is the $27,800 in Handling Fees?

More visual support materials would be helpful. Production photos would be great.

The use of American Sign Language interpreters is great!

Hopkins Rebecca - Score: 85.000

Goals were general. Do you have any audience growth or challenges you hope to meet.

Timeline was thin. Need to give more information on how you plan to execute the project.

Marketing plan is good, but Social Media could use strengthening.

Great that you have begun to explore fundraising.

This grant could be fleshed out more. it painted a very flat picture of what is probably more robust programming

Could use more support material. The patron letters were great, but you could use letters from your local leaders, partner. More photos, video, or press.

It was difficult to get a feel of your work.

Lynch Lindsay - Score: 94.000
Excellence: Goals and objectives should be measurable. In the future, it would be helpful to include more detail.
