I love your unique mission no details oh how you will engage and work with partners. very little details on timeline. no mention of marketing, etc. love the fact that you do new, commissioned work relatively limited impact/event great that you pay performers! I'd like to see more corporate and individual support for your organization. DOS shouldn't be your primary source of income, since it's not a reliable source of income year to year. |

Excellence - Your mission and goals are clear. It was interesting that you are partnering with the Lee County Black Historical Society. Are you working with them to diversify your audience? Impact - It looks like you are doing exciting, experimental work, but for limited audiences. Management - Not clear to me how you collect and use data to evaluate your programs. |

Dale Mary-Margaret - Score: 97.000
Nice job of explaining the project and its impact, the targeted audience and how it will be measured. Great examples of marketing and promotional materials. For future proposals, it would be helpful to include the bios of the Management team and Board. A very demonstrated commitment to Accessibility. |

Flynt-Garrett Debra - Score: 98.000
The site-specific nature of the productions is very exciting The original works including original score & music is most impressive The fluctuations in the annual operating budget is understandable given the nature of the changes in performance venues from year to year

Excellence: The applicant describes the project but fails to include measurable goals and objectives. Impact: The applicant includes limited outreach and educational components. The project will engage youth in an original production, which is a point of excellence. Management: The applicant appears to be able to effectively execute the project within the timeline and budget. The evaluation plan does not include sufficient detail regarding how impact would be evaluated. Accessibility: Strong focus on accessibility, including hearing-assistance and large print, improves overall community impact of the project.
