Cox Elaine - Score: 85.000

I would like to see a more detailed timeline of what happens within the actual funding cycle (July 1, 2018- June 30, 2019)

I wouldn't spend valuable space talkin about Art Basel and the Running of the Bulls, when you could be talking about how you're making Orlando world class. I would like to see statistics to back up your claims, such as year-over-year growth.

I would like to read more about the artists and the programming. Except for a few lines about Cirque, I don't see you discuss how you plan to attract new artists and create enriching audience experiences.

Do you have an idea of the economic impact of this event? You should include that in your impact section.

You say that your program takes place in mostly accessible spaces, and then say it is of the utmost of accessibility. How can it be mostly and totally? Glad to see though that your entire team completed the workbook.

Jose Brian - Score: 89.000

Applicant demonstrates that goals, objectives, activities and partnerships all support the mission! Further, goals and objectives can be measured.

Would like to see numbers around claims of economic impact.

Good marketing/promotion is demonstrated.

Aggressive budget growth for future should be noted. Is this growth pattern consistent with previous years?

The grant cycle as identified by the state is July 1, 2018 - June 30, 2019, however your application indicates a date range from May 2017 - August 2018. I am wondering if you meant May 2018 instead. Any grant related expense would need to be incurred during the state defined grant period. Also, your Timeline indicates activities through October 2018 which falls outside of your indicated "grant cycle". I find this whole section confusing.

The Arts and Economic Prosperity calculator could be useful to help articulate the economic impact of your organization and this proposal.

The rate you used to calculate the value of volunteer hours does not seem to correspond to the application guidelines: "To calculate the value of volunteer services, use the federal minimum wage (see the Wage and Hour Division of the US Department of Labor http://www.wagehour.dol.gov)." If there are circumstances that require you to use $22 instead of the federal minimum wage, that should be explained in the Additional Proposal Budget Information section.

Your proposal indicates that at least 25% of your participants are Hispanic / Latino, but I do not see how you are addressing language accessibility for these participants.

Rivera Darren - Score: 89.000

Great description of event from a patron's perspective. Economic impact is missing. Citing the Running of the Bulls in Pamplona, Spain; Mardi Gras in New Orleans; and Art Basel in Miami is not particularly helpful.

Rusconi Ellen - Score: 82.000

Goals, objectives and activities are presented clearly.

Partnerships - many partnerships; this section would benefit from describing nature of partnerships more and making it less of a list.

Timeline is moderately detailed

High impact numbers

Counties - probably serve beyond Orange County (artists from elsewhere, tourists) even if it all takes place in Orange.

Proposal Impact would benefit by data and quantified economic impact.  comparisons seem so aspirational that it detracts from the grant (Running of the Bulls attracts 1 million visitors, Mardi Gras 1.4 million).  I understand this is dream, but too much is devoted to it.  Focus on impact now and in immediate future.

Marketing and Promotions - posters and digital impressions seems too low; I think this section would benefit from streamlining language

Management and operating budget - good steps taken to strengthen board.  Artist stipends belong in outside programmatic.

Huge jump in Corporate Support and Private Support - is this realistic or aspirational?  Would be helpful to know how much is secured.

Accessibility - an important aspect of accessibility is parking which is not addressed.  ADA logos are not on map (that I noticed).  Giving examples and facts would help this section.

Support materials - more footage of performance (with fewer edits) and additional marketing material would help give context.
