Strong, measurable goals. For timeline, I would like to see the timeline of events happening within the funding period. Not what is happening in September 2017. Thank you for including economic impact. Consider what you could do to provide transportation to get the students in rural students to you. Could you get sponsorship or a transportation underwriter? Would like to see the study guides as an attachment. Who writes them? How to they align with Florida State and National education standards? |

Applicant does a good job setting out clear goals. I also appreciate the detail in partnership section.
Applicant makes clear case of impact with examples. Applicant manages evidence of accessibility. |

The first and last sentence of your Goals, Objectives, and Activities section contradict one another: "South Florida State College's Performing Arts Department presents over 35 performances..." and "SFSC does not have a performing arts department...". Which is the true statement? I do not understand how there are 48 proposal events but only 45 opportunities for public participation. You identify as a Hispanic/Latino entity, and Hispanics/Latinos are identified as making up at least 25% of your participants, however this application does not address language accessibility for this population. |

Objectives listed are really activities. The proposal would be strengthened by having measurable outcomes. Evidence of strong partnerships exists. Good outreach and service to Native American and Latino populations. Strong economic impact. Good use of college's office of institutional effectiveness for measurement. | |

Goals, Objectives and Activities are clearly presented and extensive. Strengthen objectives by including clear targets for specific action. Nice growth with the Kaleidoscope Series Impact could be better presented - narrative starts off strong but becomes too meandering. overall note to focus answers to the specific questions asked - this will make the proposal more readable Marketing - Build your own package shows positive adaptation to market Fiscal Condition - strong operating reserve Evaluation - good inclusion of focus groups This seems like a large surplus year after year. While the fiscal management is to be applauded, is there more you could be doing within your community with some of this surplus? It feels excessive year after year. Operating Budget Info: are state supported costs fully funded by the state? More explanation would be appreciated Proposal budget - Outside Fees for artists exceed overall budget for outside fees for artists Project budget significantly exceeds next year's budget Accessibility symbols do not seem to be included on the materials.
