It appears your county's population is primarily White, however, how do you engage the 24.8% of your population that is of color on the board, staff, or in your programming? To improve your evaluation plan, discuss how you will assess your performance on the goals your articulated at the beginning of your proposal. Can you explain the increase in cost for personnel?

BCA accomplishes a lot with a moderately sized budget. Contracts with BPS to implement 21st C Community Learning, Next Generation, & At-Risk Youth Artist Residencies are particularly noteworthy, and I appreciate the fact that the Art in Public Place program provides many free opportunities for citizens and visitors to experience art in potentially unexpected places. I hope that the BC Cultural grants has continued growth, although 33% in 2 years may not always be feasible. I would like to see the organization grow its cash reserves if possible.

Should objectives be objectives for the grant period? Many of these are specific to 2017 activities.

Thank you for addressing the critical need for general operating support. For the purposes of this grant program, I would urge you to call this "general program support" to best align

Can you speak to the state/regional government reduction in the operating budget summary (from 77K in prior year, 72K current and $45K projected)?

Great accessibility response. Several anecdotes refer to 2015; update with more recent examples if possible to give even more strength to the response.

Organization appears to be solid, doing a good job delivering a defined suite of services to the community.  They mention staff with fluent Spanish proficiency, but I don't know baseline demographics in order to determine what I presume is a positive impact?  Looks like they are using good evaluation methods that are within their reach -- and I'm impressed that they are committed to "improve as we learn."  It shows.
