Excellence:

  • Objectives: While the stated objectives are measurable, it is not apparent HOW these objectives will be realized.  We can extrapolate from the activities, but it would be much easier from an assessor's point of view to see Goals paired with Objectives paired with dedicated activities.

Impact:

  • It was great to see ON produce Spanish Opera events in previous seasons.  This is an excellent way to reach out to the community.
  • It would be good to see details relating to local economic development as well as the human impact.
  • M/P: The structure is sound.  Make sure to include specific numbers such as social media likes/followers, post reach, number of free concerts, number of outreach activities, etc.

Management:

  • Evaluation plan: This is very sound, but more specifics are needed:
    • Share the survey in supplemental materials as well as the data from the previous season
    • How has attendance fluctuated over the seasons?
    • How have the outreach interviews gone/what are the salient findings?
  • Budget: What is the reason for the deficit in the previously completed fiscal year? No details were provided.
