• Objectives and activities (to installation of 3 public works and entry into City of Coral Gables and State of Florida Public Art Registries) are measurable.
• Timeline and partnerships with Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce & Cultural Affairs Committee and the and the Coral Gables Museum are positives
• Very confident in the ability of the City of Coral Gables to carry out the remainder of the project as described in the proposal.

Impact:

• Provides significant cultural services to the community and proposed activities marketing/promotion plans are reasonable and achievable within the grant period.
• Shows positive ROI in anticipated increases to visitors to area (effect of spending on local economy – cultural tourism)
• The essential impact the arts have qualitatively and quantitatively could be further corroborated by emphasizing broader social, cultural, and economic benefits public art proffers (perhaps by incorporating AFTA’s free AEP5, which provides current statistical data, case studies, and quotes from arts, business, and government leaders).
• The educational outreach activities are appropriate for the size/scope of the program/project and reach the target population

Management:

• Blend of direct and indirect evaluation methods (most are measurable)
• The City's Standard & Poor's and Fitch Ratings AAA credit rating are good indicator of the projects sustainability
• Very confident in the fiscal stability of the City of Coral Gables to carry out the proposed activities and sustain the programs (stewardship, marketing, etc.) after the grant period.

Accessibility:

• Meets ADA accessibility criteria (504 Self Eval, compliance staff person, etc.)

Clear concise application.  Easy to understand and evaluate goals and outcomes.

There is an opportunity to provide more accessibility support beyond ADA signs.  

I don't understand your operating budget or proposal budget. You only have totals, but you aren't asking for a tremendous amount of money and your own cash position is solid.

Excellence: This section would be strengthen by including how your Arts Advisory Panel and Cultural Development Board members are selected.

Impact: How will you know that you are directly responsible for attracting 1,490 new people? Education/Outreach section can be strengthened.

Management: Credit rating upgrade, appreciated that maintenance had been addressed. Evaluation section can be strengthened. Distribute a survey, monitor local or national press.

Accessibility: Can you provide more detail about what accommodations will be made for people with visual impairments?

Would be nice to see more expertise from art professionals etc. in mission...its great to honor community but need good artists and art professionals to do that!

David Brooks is a cool artist - congrats. Asking budget seems small for what trying to accomplish with 3 public artworks
