Clercx Byron - Score: 89.000

Excellence:

  • PARC’s Mission is inspirational, aspirational, vocational, and inclusive.
  • The Goals are laudable but the two sections about Florida Imagined meander. Consider merging them or delineating in list form to add clarity and emphasis.
  • The Objectives are reasonable and clear
  • Consider referencing how quantitative and qualitative measures will be used to assess the Activities (e.g., include specific statistical data gathered from prior events and consider establishing a target and stretch target assessment goals).
  • All of the Activities are laudable and meaningful. However, a couple seem to blur together (e.g., when mentioning the two collaborative exhibitions with an Art Therapy Outreach Program and Art Therapy Program respectively; while others appear to be listed twice (e.g., …participate in the Art Therapy program with a Registered Art Therapist).
  • The list of Partners clearly describes local arts and advocacy partners.
  • Very minimal concerns about PARC’s ability to carry out the proposal

Impact:

  • The impact/participation numbers (7 events, 439 opportunities for public participation, 61 artists, etc.) was helpful; and increases in studio revenue (39%) and artist’s sales income (50%) is noteworthy.
  • The size of the Tampa Metro statistical area is accurate but it would be helpful to connect this to a point that showcases a community need or PARC success (like quantifying PARC’s impact on employment in arts careers and cultural tourism in Greater Tampa or how PARC events help stimulate the local economy using the AEP5 data and calculator).
  • Significant impact can also be qualitative and PARC has been a value-added difference maker in the community for years. Consider conducting alumni surveys to capture and tell their success stories.
  • Very appropriate and effective marketing and promotional activities are in place.

Management:

  • The Money/Mission Matrix (SWOT/TOWS) is a good way to align money and mission and adjust goals, objectives, and activities.
  • Strive to increase the measurability of qualitative and quantitative data
  • Consider adding outside evaluators and/or quantitative targets and stretch targets to your Evaluation Plan assessment process.

Accessibility:

  • Appears to meet ADA accessibility criteria (504 Self Eval, compliance staff person, etc.)
Dodds Jed - Score: 90.000
Would have liked to have seen better documentation of the actual programs, but appears strong and obviously worthy.
Harder Lee Ellen - Score: 96.000
{No comments provided.}
Krivinchuk Jeremiah - Score: 95.000
Very well organized with clear and achievable goals.
Packard Lisa - Score: 98.000

Trying to understand the budget; there seems to be a $10M gap in income and expense even with a $10M state grant.

However, you are not asking for that much and have half matching funds. Your application is solid and well-supported.

Ryan Sara - Score: 95.000

Excellence: Second sentence in mission statement could be strengthened with some refinement. Uses a lot of insider terms. What publication would you like to complete by June 2019?

Impact: Great detail/transparency. Use of an economic calculator would strengthen this section.

Management: cash reserves and two endowments. Alignment wit strategic plan. Any debt or long term liabilities?

Accessibility: In mission, provide opportunities for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities...
