No concerns about achieving activities described, but could not discern measurable objectives. HistoryMiami provides significant and varied services to its community. Marketing is appropriate, as are number of visitors served by a history museum. Would like to see an attempt at assessing economic impact. Museum is sound financially and receives significant support from Miami/Dade. As long as that support does not diminish, no concerns about sustainability. Had to score lower on accessibility due to timing of self-evaluation. | |

The outline of planned exhibitions does not include the grant period. More information on educational programs, collaborations and partnerships would be helpful. |

The programming outlined in the proposal is standard. How do you intend to rise "above the clutter" in South Florida's crowded cultural market? The reviewer needed more information about the local impact of the applicant's efforts. It is important that applicants submit letters of support from their stakeholders, partners, and/or constituents to show outside commitment for their work. |

Goals and strategies were outlined clearly, however more should have been tied to measurable outcomes such as percentage of growth desired or number of programs or services to offer as benchmarks. Reasonable activities are planned with fair attendance numbers. Economic impact was a little light on specific details of ROI. Also some big claims about tourist attraction that are unsubstantiated. |
