Simple but clear mission statement. Goals are also clear, I was confused by the activity with the European collection described in the proposal and the mission statement which focuses on contemporary art. The IDEAS program is wonderful! Marketing and planned programs will have significant impact on the community. I wish there were more details in the Management section--for example on line 9 and prospects for continued government support.

The mission states The Bass is to challenge. I am curious as to how this is accomplished. The outlined goals seem to go beyond the mission statement. Education programs are commendable. The budget and attendance leaps upon re-opening may be ambitious. |

The reviewer needed more information about the local impact of the applicant's efforts. It is important that applicants submit letters of support from their stakeholders, partners, and/or constituents to show outside commitment for their work. |

Goals, strategies, and partnerships were clearly explained. Impacts and Management were outlined. The only concerns are regarding aggressive attendance and revenue goals tied to new building. While there seem to be clear strategies and funding in place these numbers may prove difficult to reach in year 1.
