Goals and activities support mission. Are there non-living collections? This organization reaches a huge number of people and a big impact.

RE: 5 failing schools. While laudable to reach out to the most disenfranchised, the grant writer seems to be saying that the Museum's participation at the schools is what drove the raised school grades. If that is true, then please give examples. If the Museum's participation was simply part of the overall effort by many parties to raise these grades, please say that instead. It tests the credibility of other information submitted.

It would be helpful to learn more about the impact of the outreach beyond statistics. What happened in those schools that had success? Another area of interest would be the use of outside evaluators to assess your programs. |

The reviewer was quite impressed with work the organization undertakes to provide access to under-served and special needs communities.

Clear delineation of goals and program strategies to meet them. Under impact the economic impact lacked some evidence based data on ROI. More clear references or numbers in support would have been helpful. The marketing plan also seemed to be a little light in terms of alignment with program goals. There seemed to be a dip in admission revenue in FY17 but then a projection to increase back in FY18. It was unclear what this was attributed to.
