Goals, objectives and activities further the mission. The collection is impressive and its multicultural agenda is vital to its community. Would like to see an attempt at specific economic impact of the museum. Some concern about sustainability--it would be hard for a single development person to raise over $700k in private support, let alone while being the CEO. Would like more detail in Accessibility section.

The applicant needs to solicit more youth participation in their programming. The reviewer appreciated the applicants honesty about their financial condition. The reviewer needed more budget details to address some issues in the submitted budget. (i.e. big jump Outside fees and services, admissions decline, revenue other, Private support other, State/Reg support, big deficit last year)

Goals and strategies did not align with timeline. One of the goals outlined was to present public programs and activities 8x montly but this was not reflected in the timeline of events. Impact a little unclear. Uncertain how the counties served was calculated as the reach included Volusia and Sarasota counties as an example. This does not seem to align with program strategies. Additionally economic impact was vague. The financial status of the institution is also at risk due to deficits in prior budget cycles and new leadership in place.
