Goals support the mission; however, goals and measurable objectives are not clearly stated. Enjoyed description of partnerships. MOSH serves a great number of people. Wish the proposal had some economic impact data and more details about marketing effort. Minimal concerns about MOSH's ability to reach next FY income goals--also income and expenses do not balance. I am impressed with having an outside firm quarterly assess accessibility and facility issues. | |

The reviewer was impressed with the museum's diligent efforts to engage under-served/minority communities (i.e. scholarships, fellowships, internships and hiring practices)
The reviewer needed more budget details to address some issues in the submitted budget (i.e. big budget fluctuations in expenses and income) It is important that applicants submit letters of support from their stakeholders, partners, and/or constituents to show outside commitment for their work. |

Clearly articulated mission and goals with objectives to meet them. Removed a few points from management section due to financials. Currently using line of credit for accounts payable and payroll, also documented a deficit in FY16 due to lower admission revenues. Was able to explain FY17 numbers and plan for recovering in FY18. |
